The undergrad students at L’ecole’s participated at the LGS Legal Eagle Mooting Competition held on the 12th of January 2016. The competition officially began on the 13th of January 2016 at LGS Campus. The President of the Law Society Mr Aitzaz Ahmed Kashmiri was leading the team of 5 participants that included  Usama Amjad, Maleehay Shikoh, Qubra Ali and Anzeela Imtiaz. 


In the opening ceremony, the delegates were joined by the retired Supreme Court Chief Justice Mr Ramday who delivered a speech about his experience in the field of law and further gave some tips on mooting. After the opening ceremony L’ecole had a face-off with LUMS and Karachi University. The Legal Eagle team organised a dinner for the delegates on the first day which was followed by delicious food and exquisite decor. On the second day there was a law seminar organised for the delegates and that was followed by a wonderful bonfire. On the last day, the delegation of L’ecole made it to the finals with their undying determination and hard work. In the final round L’ecole faced the delegation of Szabist who were third year students with a lot of mooting experience. The team of L’ecole lost by 2 marks but was able to bag 6 out of 12 awards with a Runners up trophy which was a great achievement for the team. Students from L’ecole will continue to participate in such competitions and make their institution proud.
