Why Study Law

The University of London Law Programme offers security of an internationally recognized qualification. This prestigious external programme is academically led by the six UOL Colleges (Birbeck, Kings College London, The LSE, Queen Mary, SOAS and UCL) with Law Schools or Departments. Collectively, they are known as the Laws Consortium.

We at Lecole, facilitate our local student body that is unable to study abroad, to obtain a foreign degree while enabling them to remain in the comfort of their own surroundings. Law is pertinent to everyone, not just those who work within the legal profession. A law degree opens up a wide range of career opportunities in multitude fields. Hence, seeking to become a legal practitioner is not the only reason for studying for a legal qualification. Professionals already working in a law related field for instance, journalism, police force or social work, for example-and those who are eager to enhance their legal knowledge and professional standing will also find this Law degree valuable.  Individuals already working in commercial or financial professions can attain legal qualification as they are highly valued not only for specific knowledge of law but also because of the transferable skills that come from the study of Law such as creating reasoned arguments and problem solving. These attributes are highly valued by employers and as aforementioned can be applied to a wide range of contexts such as local government, politics, the civil service, business, management and administration.
